Koala protection along heathcote road

WVRA Inc. contributed via funding to help support road signage to help protect our Furry Friends. The association donated some of its funds in support of large signs, advising drivers to be aware and slow down their speed.

Our residents have advised that they would prefer to keep this small and beneficial reserve, free of playground equipment. Residents would prefer this reserve to be a quiet space where there is easy wheelchair access.

The signs are up on Heathcote Road!

The signs are up on Heathcote Road!

WVRA Inc. contributed funds to the SSEC to support these signs to protect our koalas. 

The signs are up on Heathcote Road!

The signs are working as no koalas have been killed since October 2023 along Heathcote Road.

Speed limit signs, Action for KOALAS & Graffiti removal

Council is further investigating the following issues regarding our concerns about the speed limits in The Crescent, help for koalas, and graffiti removal.


Requests have been actioned by the association for all matters listed.


This is in response to concerns discussed at the previous meeting.
