Powerful Owls require the equivalent of one possum per day, per bird to survive, the young need two possums to thrive.

The PFAS investigation at Lake Toolooma has now concluded. Per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) were found in water and sediment and perfluorooctane sulfonate within fish at Lake Toolooma. The detection of PFAS is not unexpected given the past use of PFAS-containing fire-fighting foams at the site.
Council has prepared a draft Overland Flow - Flood Study for the Sutherland Shire, which is a legal requirement of the NSW Government, to manage flood risks.
